Anyone is welcome to do this route. Please go with a local guide for your safety. If you have questions or want to get in touch with a guide in Africa, contact me at olly.k.cohen@gmail.com.

FAQ

What is this?
This is a free public itinerary for you to use at your own risk. My only request is that you give credit to irun.earth if you use the route.

Where do I fly into?
I recommend flying into Kilimanjaro International Airport.

Is this safe to do alone?
If you don't speak Swahili and haven't spent extended time in Africa, I wouldn't recommend running solo through Africa. When I did this run, I was supported by a local tour company.
