Kilmanjaro Aid Project to fund the construction of chicken coops for households in the foothills of Kilimanjaro that are currently surviving on one meal or less per day. The chicken coops become a source of food and income for families within 6 months.
I have personally visited the villages Kilimanjaro Aid Project is helping and can attest to their poverty. The idea to provide chicken coops rather than food came out of collaboration with locals. The project is currently being overseen by my African running partner Rocky Mtui. - Olly
